Job Summary
Machine Operator. This position includes operation of various metalworking machinery (ex – press brakes, mills, lathes, saws, grinder, etc.) for the purpose of fabricating high precision parts.
Job Responsibilities
Operation of metalworking machinery for forming, bending, turning, milling and/or cutting steel.Other metalworking positions include general labor for loading and unloading machines and deburring/grinding for manual weld spatter removalPerform routine operations including loading raw material and start-up/shut down of equipmentMonitor machine performance regarding accuracy of quantity and quality output, making adjustments as neededPerform basic preventative and routine machine maintenanceManual assembly of product with use of manual and powered toolsProper stacking and protection of parts as required to maintain specified quality standard
