MANAGER (REVENUE PROTECTION) Job Purpose

To provide a revenue protection service within the Section by ensuring that non-technical energy losses on the distribution network are kept to a minimum, customers who are in arrears are effectively disconnected in order to tighten credit control and customers who have settled or made arrangement to settle their account are reconnected timeously.

Key Responsibility Areas Manage administrative and technical functions in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations. Prepare the Section's financial budgets (capital and operating) and control expenditure within such approved budgets. Supervise subordinate staff performance and take remedial action where necessary. Responsible for maintaining effective industrial relations. Provide input in the drafting of tender specifications and the adjudication thereof.
