We are accepting applications for following: Position: Spare School Bus Drivers Location: Edson, Lobstick & Hinton, Alberta Start Date: Duties to commence immediately for trained individuals. The competition will remain open during the 2026 - 2027 School Year Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) is the third largest geographical school division in Alberta, spanning a vast area from Evansburg west along the Yellowhead Highway to Jasper, and north to Grande Cache. Operated from the Education Services Centre in Edson, the transportation department manages 54 school bus routes across five distinct zones within Yellowhead County, safely transporting over 2,200 students and covering more than 8,000 kilometers daily.To ensure continuous, reliable operations across this extensive network, the Division employs Spare Drivers on a day-to-day basis to safely transport students to and from school in the absence of Permanent Full-Time School Bus Drivers.Summary:If you have an exceptional...
