Job Description
- Must possess a valid 1ST Class Operating Engineer’s License,
- knowledge of the Operating Engineers Act, Boilers, Pressure Vessels and fuels.
- Knowledge of all applicable TSSA regulations.
- Successful completion of a Community College Diploma in Power Engineering Technology or a related field of study or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Strong knowledge of power generation/transmission technology, water and wastewater treatment, including processes, procedures and related systems in a plant environment.
- Sound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
- Knowledge of computers and ability to operate computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and to conduct research using the internet.
- SAP knowledge/experience would be an asset, as would high-level problem-solving/analytical skills and strong organizational and coordination skills. <...
